Marilao is well-known for religious tourism and native delicacies. The municipality is true to its vision of creating a community of empowered people, competitive economy, balanced ecology and good governance.

In celebration of Nutrition Month this year, the Municipal Government of Marilao launched the Mobile Kitchen project, led by Mayor Henry R. Lutao. This project will visit each barangay and serve nutritious food to the Marilenyos, especially those in need, to combat malnutrition.
