Privacy Notice
This privacy policy governs the use of the software application named My Marilao (“Application”) for mobile devices incorporated with the system procured and now being managed by the Municipal Govenment of Marilao, Bulacan. The Application is used to provide the constituents with a variety of online services. This app includes application forms, which may be used by citizens to access services offered by the municipal government and conduct transactions with it.
1. Information Collected
a. User-Provided Information
The My Marilao Mobile Application allows users to register and log in to their user accounts with the municipal government. To facilitate logging in, the application will collect the following information from the user:
a. Mobile number
b. PIN
Other personally identifiable user data may be gathered, such as user-identified product names and codes, service preferences, locations, and addresses depending on the kind of service the user uses, information may be gathered.
b. Automatically Collected and Real-time Information
Additionally, the application may automatically gather some data, including but not limited to the model of mobile device in use, its unique ID, its MAC address, its mobile OS version, and/or its location.
2. Use of Information
The Municipal Government of Marilao collects this information for the following purposes:
1. To provide customized services to the user
2. To help monitor and improve the services to users
3. Third-Party
The information collected is solely owned by the Municipal Government of Marilao.
4. Security
Your information’s confidentiality is something we take seriously. To protect the information we process and maintain, we offer physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards. We only allow authorized personnel and contractors who need the information to use, develop, or upgrade our application to have access to this information.
5. Changes to this Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be modified periodically for any reason, and we’ll let you know by posting the revised privacy statement at www.marilao.gov.ph and sending you an email or text message. You are urged to review this privacy statement frequently for any updates, as continuous usage will signify your agreement to all revisions. The history of this policy is available here.

You agree that we may process your information as described in this Privacy Statement and any updates made by Municipal Government of Marilao by using the Application. “Processing” refers to the use of cookies on a computer or mobile device or to any use or handling of data, including but not limited to the gathering, storing, erasing, using, combining, and disclosure of data, all of which will take place in the Philippines. Your information will be transferred, processed, and kept in accordance with Philippine privacy standards even if you live outside the Philippines.
