Hon. Henry R. Lutao

The 20th Mayor of the Municipality of Marilao

 

In 2022, Henry Lutao ran for candidacy and won his 3rd term for the postion of Municipal Vice Mayor of Marilao alongside the then incumbent Mayor Ricardo Silvestre. Upon the approach of Ricardo Silvestre's First 100 days as elected Mayor, an unforseeable tragedy occured causing the devastation of its townsfolk as the incumbent Mayor passed on. With the grieving permanent vacancy , Henry Lutao forthwith and assumed office to perform the duties and functions of a Municipal Mayor for his mourning town.

Now, as the Town Mayor, he strives to strengthen and improve the Municipality's platform towards healthcare and transformative education. Adhere to his beliefs, he wants to increase the number of highly trained and employed Marilenyos for the betterment of the town's economic state.

Educational Background

Henry Rubio Lutao was born in Barangay Lias, Marilao, Bulacan. He is the third amongst four children of Romulo Castro Lutao and Felisa Rubio Lutao. He attended his early childhood education at Mababang Paaralan ng Matungao in 1979 and served his High School years at Assembly Woman Felicita G. Bernardino Trade Memorial School in 1983, both had him academically ranked as Salutatorian. Afterwards, he pursued his studies under Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering with a scholarship grant given by Adamson University in Ermita, Manila around 1988. where he strived vigorously to become a consistent Dean's Lister. Amidst all the academic work, he labored his way to educational completion by working as a Tricycle Driver for 7 years in affiliation with LLIPS TODA.

Social Services for the Marilenyos

Ever since he became a public servant, Henry Lutao has been extending diversified social services for the benefit of the Marilenyos.

Some of his prized projects include:

Munisipyo sa Barangay - Medical Dental and Optical Mission: An all-in-one program tendered to different Barangays monthly where the Municipality would supply and offer various Government services to conduct said assistances closer to people's homes.

Mobile Kitchen - A food truck dedicated to catering the flooded ad the needy.

Handog Ligayang Pangkabuhayan - Numerous trainings offered by the Local Government spearheaded by the Public Employment Service Office and MFS Training Center in association with TESDA Region 3. These vary from short term trainings such as meat processing and soap making bestowed with Pangkabuhayan Packages to long term education resulting with National Certifications which could be used to apply for profitable occupations.
