Excellence has always been her standard. A consistent scholar, she graduated Valedictorian in Elementary and Salutatorian in High School. She went on to finish Legal Management as Magna Cum Laude at UST and earned her law degree at San Beda as a consistent Dean’s Lister, passing the Bar in 2006.

Her brilliance extends far beyond the classroom. In 2008, she established her own law office and started different businesses related to logistics, trading, and entertainment, where she also appeared in certain movies and a travel show.

For over a decade, she served with distinction at the Bureau of Customs. From the Intelligence Group to the Assessment Division, she broke barriers—becoming the youngest Port Collector at 30 and the youngest Chief Customs Officer at 33.

A woman of industry, she is a powerhouse in logistics and business. Enhancing her expertise with a degree in Sustainable Supply Chain Management from the University of Cambridge, she now leads Paramount Logistics, FXD Express, and Great Mind Games.

Beyond her professional work, she is a dedicated civic leader. In 2018, she established the Jemina Sy Foundation to uplift the lives of the needy, especially her fellow Bulakenyos. She is a former President of JCI Philippines (Marilag Chapter), Charter President of Soroptimist International (Marilao Gems Chapter), and an active member of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines, the Fraternal Order of Eagles, and Rotary Marilao Highlands. Her advocacy was recognized globally in 2017 when she received the "Most Outstanding Filipino in Women Empowerment" award from Gawad Amerika in the USA.

A leader in business, a servant in government, and a pillar of the community, she recently made history by winning an overwhelming mandate to become the youngest and first female Mayor of her hometown. Her historic election has sparked a renewed sense of hope among her constituents.

Mayor Jem Sy is steadfast in transforming her campaign vision into tangible reality. Her leadership style is defined by action—combining the sharp legal mind of a lawyer with the compassion of a mother.
