Pursuant to the provisions of the Republic Act No. 7160, otherwise known as the Local Government Code of 1991, the Municipal Government of Marilao is mandated to exercise powers and perform functions necessary to promote the
general welfare of its constituents.

This includes the delivery of basic services and facilities, the promotion of economic development, the protection of the environment, and the enhancement of the quality of life of its residents through effective, transparent, and accountable governance.

The Municipal Government of Marilao shall implement policies, programs, projects, and activities that ensure responsive public service, sustainable development, and participatory governance in partnership with stakeholders and the community.

As a dedicated public servant of the Municipal Government of Marilao, I solemnly pledge to uphold the core values of our institution in every action I take and every decision I make.

I commit myself to a leadership that is participatory, transparent, and centered on the needs of our citizens, ensuring that our public service remains responsive, efficient, and accessible to every Marilenyo.
