Barangays | Barangay Prenza II
Prenza II is approximately five kilometers from the heart of the municipality, and is accessible via the Marilao-San Jose Road riding the locally franchised jeepneys. It has total land area of 106.13 hectares, a bigger portion of which is classified as grassland or open spaces, developable urban areas while the other portions are devoted to agriculture and residential use. It is bounded by barangays Lambakin, Sta Rosa I, Prenza I and Loma de Gato. Prenza II is the home to Prenza Dam, a structure that was built in the 17th century for the Dominican priests and since then has become the biggest water reservoir in this part of Bulacan. Today, efforts have been exerted to make Prenza Dam a tourist destination. One of the two public high schools in Marilao is located here, the Prenza National High School, catering too many of the residents in the eastern section of Marilao. Agriculture remains to be the major economic activity although industry is slowly making its entrance in the business arena. There are at least four residential subdivisions in Prenza II, the Karla Ville North, Saint Emmanuel Homes, Beverly Homes and Countryside Ville Subdivision.
